This is an event poster of the novel The Metamorphosis for the theater Zimmerman Theater. I created the main character who is battling between keeping his humanity or turning into an insect. The red blood symbolize pain and betrayal, and the apple symbolize knowledge with the reference of Adam and Eve. The black is heavily used for its darkness and disappearance just as how the main character is portray throughout the novel.
